We dropped the laces to up the ease. The 1460 Laceless boot has all of the signatures of the first ever DM’s style – except its hallmark 8-eye lace system. In polished Smooth leather with a soft leather tongue, an oil wax leather with a subtle pull-up effect. The boot features triple row Puritan stitching, our instantly recognizable scripted heel loop and yellow welt stitching, and a grooved DMS sole in smoke.
Material
Smooth leather is as classic as it gets: with us from the beginning, it is famously tough and can be buffed up to a high shine or artfully scuffed up. Explorer WP is a water-resistant oily leather with a waxy finish and relaxed pull-up look that becomes more baked in with wear.
Construction
Goodyear Welted – the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
